We use a hot packing process to safeguard the natural qualities and unique taste of our 100% pure maple syrup. No preservatives are added to our maple syrup in accordance with the Maple Products Regulations (C.R.C., c. 289). For these reasons, once opened, our maple syrup must be refrigerated to prevent the appearance of mold or fermentation. Unopened, it can safely be kept in your pantry for many years.
